Taking a TV off the wall looks easy right up until the moment it is not — hidden locking screws, mount arms under spring tension, and 70 pounds of glass that only needs one bad grip. Here is what the service actually covers.
Wall made right
Anchor and lag holes filled flush and sanded smooth — ready for touch-up paint, so the landlord or the buyer never knows a TV lived there.

Bedroom to living room, living room to patio — down from one wall and properly mounted on the next, wires re-hidden at the new spot.
Remounted at the new place
We take it down at the old house and mount it at the new one — same mount reused when it fits the wall, honest advice when it does not.

Why we get called after the DIY attempt
Most mounts hold the TV with hidden locking screws or pull tabs at the bottom of the brackets — pull on a locked TV and the mount fights back while you are holding the weight. Full-motion arms are worse: they are under tension and swing when the weight leaves them. Big panels add the third problem — a 75-inch TV is not heavy so much as awkward, and twisting a bare panel is how screens crack without ever being dropped.
Two of us show up for anything 55 inches and over, the TV comes down flat and controlled, and the wall gets left the way you need it — patched for a rental walk-through, or clean for the next mount.

How much does TV dismounting cost?
It is one of our smallest jobs, and the phone quote is free and real — tell us the TV size and mount type and you get a number on the call, not a service fee to come look.
Do you patch and paint the holes?
We fill every anchor and lag hole flush and sand it smooth — ready for paint. We do not carry your exact wall color, so the dab of touch-up paint is yours or your painter’s.
Can you take it down at my old house and mount it at the new one?
Yes — that is the most common version of this job. Same day when both houses are local; otherwise two quick appointments around your moving schedule.
Do you transport the TV between houses?
We do not haul it — the TV rides with you or your movers, and we will show you how to wrap and position it so it travels safely (always upright, never flat).
